Trumpington Primary

The proposed new substation in Trumpington will increase the capacity of the electricity network and maintain reliable supplies for homes and businesses in the area. It will not be generating electricity, it will be transforming it from 33,000 volts to 11,000 volts.

The proposed site is to the south of Addenbrooke’s Road, as shown on the plan below.
